Roster notes:

  • This is pretty much the roster we had heading into last Saturday.
  • After sitting out the Penn State game, Marcus English did play against Akron, but seemed to have limited minutes.
  • Dominique Sherrer remains completely off the depth chart due to a knee injury suffered against Alabama State. Javonti Greene remains the starting running back as of now, but he was also injured last week. After Sherrer, Greene, and White, the next running back in is probably either Ryan Brumfield or Joe Fleming.
  • Bridger Buche and Corey Watman both left late in the Penn State game with knee injuries. Rumor is that Buche suffered a high ankle sprain in his left leg, but he may be back for this weekend; he seemed to be walking pretty well on the sideline last week. Rumor has it that Watman has a sprained right knee, and will also be out for an unknown duration; he was on two crutches on the sideline last week. Fortunately, the o-line was still able to do a nice job run-blocking without them last week.
