Recruiting tidbits

July 13, 2010

A few tidbits from the class of 2011 recruiting trail, but nothing too encouraging.

Tyler Parsons of ChippewaCountry.com takes an early look at MAC football recruiting:

It’s been a tough summer for the Eagles so far, and they have yet to snag a commitment.

Stephen Bell at BanksHoops reports that Paul Tenharmsel, from Caledonia (MI) High School, will don the green and white, as he has accepted a scholarship offer from Charles Ramsey to play basketball for the Eagles. As a junior, the 6’4″ guard averaged 9 points and 2 rebounds per game for the 11-10-1 team (full stats):

But he’s always looked like twice the player when he’s out there with his AAU buddies, and the long, bouncy athlete was built for that wide-open summer game. He’s a lefty who defends, makes offensive and defensive plays above the rim, and can get hot from three-point range.
