EMU at Virginia open thread

October 23, 2010

If you weren’t able to make the trip to historic Scott Stadium for EMU’s 1002nd football game (I don’t know why EMU is ignoring two games and one season — probably either 1891 or 1943 since those are the only two-game seasons) this afternoon, there are several other ways to keep up to date.

  • You could watch the game online at ESPN3.com.
  • Listen to the game on WEMU, 89.1 FM. Or, if you’re out of the area, listen online for free.
  • If you hunt around online, you’ll find several websites claiming to have free streaming video of the game. I’m dubious, and the sites seem sketchy, so I won’t link them here, but they shouldn’t be too hard to find if you look.

You could also talk about it in the comments here.

EMU is only down 17-14 at the half.

EMU is getting it done on the ground, averaging nearly 11 yards per carry. Not high-scoring, but this may end up being one of those “last team with the ball wins” games.
