Roster notes:

  • The depth chart is unchanged from the updated release at the end of last week.
  • Against Alabama State and at Michigan, Orlando McCord started at H-back in place of Trey Hunter.
  • At Michigan, running back Joe Fleming started in place of wide receiver Nick Olds.
  • No updates on Sherrer’s knee. Until we hear otherwise, I’m assuming he’s still out.
  • WR Kinsman Thomas remains listed as the #3 Z receiver, though he did catch one of EMU’s three passes at Michigan last week.
  • Safety Pudge Cotton injured his knee against Howard and did not play against Alabama State or Michigan. I’ve not heard anything about when he’s expected to return.

    Dear cmadler,
Just to say I really appreciate the effort you put forth, on this site. It has become one of my favorites, and I look forward to it every day. Thanks

Not having Sherrer is a huge loss. We had the pony express going with Greene and Sherrer. I guess looking at the big picture, it is more important to have him healthy for the MAC schedule. I also wonder why Kinsman Thomas is not starting yet.
